Thanks for checking out my first teaser Tuesday! Each of the five goddesses of Verndantia have a font of power. Morrigan’s is the Reaper’s Glass, Guila has Starweaver Dreamglass, Glacia the Celestial Waterstone, Gaea the Worldwood Heartseed, and Luminora the Solspark Sunstone. These fonts act as a recharge station of each of the goddesses powers, but they have been stolen. This threatens not only the goddesses control over the world but their very existence. What makes the theft of Morrigan’s particularly frightening is she unable to call forth her Veilbound magical creatures that help guide souls into her domain, meaning no one can die. While this might sound good to some, others are forced to endure unspeakable torment. As is Morrigan herself, as she can hear the dying call to her but she is unable to help them.

Captain Giddeon Skytamer captain of The Borealis. Giddeon was born across the sea in Stormwell. He learned divination magic from his gramora (grandmother) beginning at the age of five. Giddeon showed great aptitude in reading The Oracle of Elements cards. No one is certain how he became the captian of The Borealis but he was the youngest person to do so. The Borealis is one of the five great airships that fly Nothera’s skies. What makes the Borealis different from the others it is the perfect balance of magic and science allowing it travel farther for longer than any ship on land or air.
