Here are some Indy Authors I think you may enjoy!

Scarlett Hyde

Scarlett Hyde loves to write what she loves to read: sci-fi and fantasy. The adventure in these kinds of books captures her like nothing else, and she loves going along for the ride. Because of the happiness she gets from reading sci-fi and fantasy books, she wanted to be able to create something that would someday give the same joy to someone else.

In middle school, her writing really exploded thanks to an inspiring English teacher; after the teacher took a special interest in her writing skills, her works went from a few simple pages to whole short stories.

As a collector of souls, Aysha spends her days guiding spirits of the dead to the Gates of Judgement. Her job was monotonous, nothing eventful ever happening, each day melding together. Aysha wished daily for something more than the dull repetition. Unfortunately, her wish came true but in the worst way possible. Invaders took over and blocked the Gates, so the dead are now unable to pass through them, wandering around, lost forever, unless Aysha can find a way to defeat the evil afoot.

What doesn’t kill you doesn’t always make you stronger. Sometimes it leaves you broken. Nijat is a half-elf with one foot in the world of men, and the other foot in the world of the elves – but welcomed in neither. Once, the King’s guard of Azovia held him and his sister captive in the Fortress of Ravani – valuable prisoners, because of their elven blood. Nijat made a costly sacrifice for his sister’s safety, and now all he wants is to find a place to belong – but will his mixed heritage once again make him a wanted man? Inessa is the greatest wayfinder of the Branadhen Clan. She has her own reasons to feel she doesn’t fit with the world around her. When she meets Nijat, she never expected to have anything in common with this stranger, but slowly she understands that his search for home and belonging mirrors her own. Nijat of Nowhere is a fantasy story about finding family, belonging, and love in a world that seems to have no place for them
